Default Front disc brake on rear?

This is probably a very easy one, but I'm about to get some Supra TT front brakes and was wondering if it is possible to put to use my larger stock fronts on the rear axles? Are the front brakes bolt-on compatible with the rear drum brake?

nope. The back disc is made to hold the e-brake whereas the front disc isnt. Look at the thickness of the center of the rotors

You're right...the "hat" on the rear rotors are designed to fit over the e-brake assembly....

Also keep in mind the rear brakes are seldom upgraded on cars. The fronts do most of the work due to weight transfer in heavy braking situations...

Now, if you feel you experience heavy brake fade in reversing situations, then perhaps a rear upgrade is something you should seriously consider.

I wouldn't put it past me Thanks for the response guys. I know I don't need bigger rear brakes, but I figured if there was a chance to get 12-inch 2-piston brakes back there, then why not?!

Now, where to locate low-price Supra rotors...................

Supra calipers are in the mail along with rotors, ss lines, and friction pads . $470 shipped for a "low mileage used" set. What do you guys think of the price? I bought them from TeamLexus.

Hehe aliga... I saw those afterwards too. I think the LS400 calipers look way sicker than the Supra ones, but I'm all about the stopping power.

Price breakdown was as follows:
$300 for a pair of calipers
$100 for stock rotors, friction pads, and ss lines
$70 for shipping from Maryland

Shipping sucks ***, but what do you expect from 50lbs worth of gear... I don't know if this is a regular sale from TeamLexus, only that I bought this set from Mike Collins of TeamLexus.
