Intuitive Parking Assist
Intiutive Parking Assist: It beeps when you get close to any other object in front or behind.
Has this ever been offered on the lexus RX? I'm pretty sure that I've seen it before on the RX, but I am having trouble seeing it listed as an option for the RX350.

How is this possible? As far as I know parking assist sensors are not available on any RX350 which I found odd since it is offered on my Sienna with Nav.

Neither the '04 RX330 nor the '07 RX350 brochure lists this as an option, either alone or in any package. It could be installed on any car, as there are plenty of aftermarket kits out there, but as far as I know, this is not a Lexus option on any RX.
And why would you need it in the front?
I miss the good old days when I drove an old Jeep Wrangler and just parked using the Braille Method.

Park Assist
I noticed that on my dash there is a light for the rear-park sensor that lights up when I start the car (it's by the tach). I was thinking of seeing what it would take to make that light work (add the back-up sensors). I thought it was a dealer installed option.
Anyways, here is a link to a video of the ULTIMATE Garage Park Assist - you just get out of the car, hit a button, and the car folds in its mirrors and parks itself with minimal side clearance! http://www.cartv.com/content/researc...re/vid/f_0119/
It's the first park assist I've seen that you can do from outside the car.

Middle East RX350
Maybe the options and specifications differ dependent on the region. The RX in the Middle East is furnished with front and rear parking assisting sensors.
