We spent another 45 minutes on the phone with Lexus support. I did not realize that there was a differential between Remote Connect and the Digital Key. We now have the Remote Connect shared with my wife’s phone and she can unlock, lock, start engine, etc. but now I cannot do those features on my phone now.
The Digital Key download is still a problem and has been escalated to another support tier. Hopefully first of next we can continue to work on the problem.
Did you ever manage to work this out? Im having the exact same issue?
@daryll40I totally agree. They need to resolve this quickly. The worst part is that they display default message to carry fob all the times even when I go in the chat option. That is so stupid. I have exactly the same opinion as yours. If we have to carry key fob “just to be safe”, what’s the point of digital key option.
My Digital Key works good. The one time I had a problem it was because Cell Service was bad. If you rely totally on Digital Key and the cell service in your area goes down or acts up you are going to have a problem.
