Digital key question
My digital key stopped working last week. Now when I open the Lexus app the Lock and Unlock buttons turn blue then black then blue then black. I checked and the bluetooth connect to CAR Digital_Key connects then disconnects every few seconds. Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.

Digital Key Story
So we take my relatively new RX 350 p+ from Dallas to New Orleans and then on to Panama City Beach.
I always keep my FOB in my left front pocket,
Nice drive and I set her up #2. Investment codo beautiful place I think 6th story on the beach, meet up with the owner couple.
Couple days of parting and sunning.
So we take my car to lunch, Afterwards I'm sorta showing off. Hit remote start to cool the car off, its hot. Florida. Car is a few hundred yards away.,
We all walk the boardwalk and meander to the car after about 20 minutes.
Get to the car and it woudln:t unlock automatically for me, I haven't used digital key very often. really don't know what I'm doing.
So I tap a bunch of buttons. Open and tap some more to start. Drive about 10miles and thinking WTF. Its a slow drive on the coast and I'm catching some well deserved ****,
Thinking WTF This car has been bulletfruff for me.
Get back to condo unload pockets thinking I'm going to lay around and maybe more and guess what?
No key fob!

Fell out of my pocket in new shorts at the restraunt
and when I called they were closed until the dinner hour.
So the digital key worked pretty good for me.
iPhone 14pro
She slept I drove back and forth.

Digital Key no good
Lexus App sucks, can not rely on digital key. All about revenue after the initial 3 year period.

The problem with the digital key is that it will only work in areas that you have a signal. I live outside of my metropolitan area and there are certain small areas where there is no signal. I realize that because Pandora stops playing or the navigation system stops communicating with you. If you drive into one of these areas and you only have the digital key, the vehicle will stop working and you will not be able to restart it. I mentioned that to the dealer and asked about a wallet key and was told the 2023 RX350 was not built to utilize a wallet key and there is no part number for such an item.

If you want to give one more try yourself:
- Delete digital key from Lexus app. You can click digital key and then hit "remove my key" at the bottom.
- Remove digital key from your iphone Bluetooth devices by selecting and clicking "Forget device".
- Make sure any digital key is not already linked on infotainment system under Settings>Info & Security. If there is one, remove it as well.
- Power off your phone and power back on.
- Turn off car, exit, lock and reenter.
- Make sure you have a strong phone carrier signal. Keep your phone either on strong wifi or strong cellular for the next step.
- Now start pairing sequence again from the Lexus app. It will first download the digital key for which you will need strong signal. And when you execute all pairing sequences, hopefully it goes through this time.
If you have questions on any of the steps above, let me know. I can elaborate.
After successfully pairing, I was understanding the feature with the customer support and I asked, "so I can stop using fob now". And they replied, we still recommend you carry your fob with you. That response was very strange to me as if Lexus do not trust their own software completely and probably encourage to use digital key in emergency only. Hopefully, they improve their software and make it more reliable if that is the case.

Can't download digital key but can start car
I had to reload my iphone. Previously I had digital key. The app keeps telling to download the digital key and fails. However hitting the start button in the app works. If this is normal what does the digital key actually give me?
