Gap between dash and door
what does the other side look like?
my 2021 ES had precisely the same mis-match, on one side only. When the dash is placed inside the vehicle, usually there's two locator pins they push the dash into and they just tighten a nut on each side. In theory, they should perfectly locate the dash every time. I don't think its foolproof though because you get these types of things. there's probably a little room for adjustment (because not every car will be stamped/welded together the same) so in that sense I'd understand that it's up to the operator to make small height adjustments before final tightening.
TL;dr the dash needs to be lowered a bit on one side.

The doors and dash look properly aligned on my RX but I do notice a lot of road debris on the plastic at the very bottom of the interior of doors when I open them and look down. The gap between the bottom of the door and the frame is big enough to allow pine needles and road gunk to enter when driving. I’ve been wiping down those plastic areas every so often only to find more stuff stuck to them a few days later. My previous car (Subaru) also had a certain amount of grime that would accumulate there but nowhere near as much (or as quickly) as with my RX. Fortunately, being dark matte plastic, the bottom strips clean easily and without looking scuffed.

Well I check both doors on my RX. Both sides look fine going by the stitching lining up. Where the door meets the dash, the dash is about an 1/8 inch higher than the door panel.
in the OP’s photo it looks as though the door panel popped out a little and needs to do back in towards the door. Is there a gap between the panel and door/glass?
Otherwise I am not sure what they would do to correct alignment.
