I do not like the current 7 Series at all, particularly in M Sport trim. LCI doesn't make it any better IMO.

 

The S-Class looks better and has a V8 option.

 

S Class by a mile. This gen 7 series is a big miss.

The narrow slit headlights, the weird parallelogram nav and that new steering wheel design are all awful imo.

 

I was hoping for the MB to have a classic round steering wheel.

Still the win for me.


 

We are dead and this is hell, lol. I'd take the now discontinued LS500 over both of these.

The front/side looks of the 7 are more imposing but everything else the S is better IMO.

Driveline wise it's the S no question.

I wouldn't pick either personally however, interiors just kill it for me. My choice would be a tier up if I got anything

 

LC 500. I don't want my flagship to be the size of a aircraft carrier I don't park large vehicles well.

 

Both look equally terrible lol

Thankfully my parents just took delivery of a preLCI with normal interior.

How odd. BMW copied a dated and lamented 2011 Lincoln MKZ. It seems designers live narrow and don't know cars or history.
