I hope not 14 inches is plenty large. If Lexus goes the way of the new ES with the RX and NX with the steering wheel, IMax infotainment screen Tesla interior and exterior will keeps ours forever or go to another brand.

To me it looks like all the sheet metal panels and glass haven't changed, roofline and back wing over rear window looks unchanged too. So they're bound to tweak the nose and rear plastic facia a bit but it doesn't look like anything far off current. I wonder if dimensions will grow a bit, although it's doubtful since the RX isn't going to update just yet and they wouldn't want the interior dimensions getting any closer to the RX than it already is. Interior will most likely be their main 'update' focus is my guess. I'd say they're saving some money on this very mild update. The tech inside will most likely be very close to Rav4 updates with a slight tweak to 'Lexus- ize' it with more higher grade offerings. If we're lucky they'll move to the latest hybrid designs which is at version #5 I believe, current is 4 and new Rav has 5.
The photos seem to show a big rectangular screen stuck to the dash, like the new ES.
The ES design language is so much cleaner than the current NX. Would have liked to see physical controls for climate controls instead of the haptic ones, although pulling them out of the screen is a start.
It's good they retained the exterior door handles of the NX, instead of trying to get fancy with what they put in the ES which I think may not be compliant with China for 2027.
Just had a quick look at the Rav 4 specs page @ Toyota.ca. Seems all versions have a temporary spare tire and no mention of run flat tires. So the likelihood of 2027 NX being equipped the same is very high considering they are assembled on the same line in Cambridge.
