On previous Lexi models including a 4th generation RX450h, a "Freeway Exit list" displays on the right side of the Nav Screen when applicable. A couple of weeks ago, a 2024 RX500h was purchased and am in the process of learning "the menu". So far I and haven't been able to find the functional "Freeway Exit List" so am wondering if this has been trashed. If this feature has been trashed (along with Inside Door Handles), how do I facilitate a version of this handy aide?

There's no right side option in this gen and the exit list seems to be gone on our new 350h as well.Originally Posted by RJWaxa

That was one of my first complaints on this Forum. I really liked the Freeway Exit List. As a Senior Citizen, it's important to know how far it is until the next Rest Area. :-)Originally Posted by RJWaxa

I share your pain as I'm now into my 9th decade on planet Earth. The Exit info was really handy and didn't necessitate having to use the destination yakty-yak belching out instructions.. Oh well, we were raised on using maps, knowing how to use a dial phone, and listening for our number of rings when having a shared line hookup. I absolutely love the new RX and will get used to not having the convenience among a few other changes they made.Originally Posted by madmax24

congratulations, our old garmin had an icon for rest stops along the route. Very convenient. Originally Posted by RJWaxa

I have had 4 or 5 ES 300h vehicles and bought a 2023 one last year. I was very disappointed that the Freeway Exit List has been discontinued. I never thought to check for something like that. Had I known that, I may have not purchased the new vehicle. I checked with a couple dealers and online and found out that, supposedly, Lexus received many requests to remove it for some reason. That doesn't make sense. There was no need to remove it, when you didn't have to use it in the first place. You could have kept that hidden. So now I'm looking for a replacement GPS to download and remove the Lexus one and install one that has my freeway exits. For the price they charge, this should be an option. I don't care if this messes up any warranty. I would be using this everyday.

I have an iPhone. I haven't found any maps, i.e: Google, Mapquest, Waze, etc. that does what I want. In order to get anything remotely like the freeway list, you need to have a destination in place, as opposed to just driving from one point to another. It should be an option. Years ago I had a problem with Spectrum DVR boxes. When I had to change them out for updates, the little clock on the front of them was gone. You could change it from a clock to the channel you are watching if you wanted. The new ones had nothing. I asked the company and they said they took a survey and people said didn't want them on there. So I'm sure it saved the company 2 cents and now the front of the boxes have nothing. Probably the same with Lexus. It's probably 2 or 3 cents to add the freeway list, but they decided to remove it. The point is you can hide it if you didn't want it.

Have you tried just searching for "freeway rest area" (or something similar) without a destination set first? I tried this right now and google maps did give me a list and map of all nearby rest stops. It's not optimal, but it may be the only solution for now.Originally Posted by JoeDice

One other option that I haven't tried is while driving, tell google to "find the next rest stop", which may give you something. Never done that before though ;-)

Rest areas are one thing. When I'm traveling on the interstates, which is often, I like to see all the exits coming up and how many miles to each one. They do normally include the rest areas also.

There is an app called USA rest stop or USA rest stop plus. This appears to show every interstate rest stop and how far away you are from it. It claims to be current. Originally Posted by JoeDice
