Initially, I was a bit underwhelmed with the ML system on my new 450h+, specifically the lack of customization (no EQ) and not enough bass, which is important to my music taste.
HOWEVER, two days ago, I set a routine on my Android Galaxy phone (under Modes and Routines) which sets the cellphone equalizer to my preferred preset selection as soon as the phone is either connected to Bluetooth or Spotify is opened. What a difference!!!
How do you adjust Equalizer settings under Modes and Routines? I setup driving routine to open Spotify and map when Android Auto is connected, but can't find the specific Spotify Equalizer settings in there.
NVM. Found it. Thx for the info on this.

can you share which app you use and the settings for equalizer
The equalizer is not in Spotify; it's part of the Samsung Settings. I'm on Android 14 with One UI 6.1, but I'm sure this exists on older versions too. Here's how to find the equalizer on Android, and how I set it to start it whenever my cellphone is automatically connected to Bluetooth in one of the three cars in the house or when I start Spotify. I guess you can set it in a similar way for other apps, as long as you stream music from your cellphone.

Can you just run the driving routine and no Spotify routine?
If the ML system is 1800 watts, what is the standard Lexus sound system wattage in a 2024 RX 350 premium plus? I could not find one salesperson at any local Lexus dealership that could answer that question. I even called other Lexus dealerships in 6 other US states and no one had any idea what the wattage is? Ya think one salesperson at one dealership would know.
Well, if wattage meant little, Lexus wouldn’t state ML system with 1,800 watts.
My Acura RDX stated ELS 3D sound system 710 watts. I like to know everything there is to know on my car. I like the sound system in my RX, just would like to know the wattage. I think all salespeople should know that answer. Odd that not one salesperson out of roughly 10 dealerships I called had any idea.
