Was wondering if any Lexus owners also own/lease anything from Audi that comes with the B&O sound system. Would be curious on impressions comparing the two...

The ML isn't that great, despite all the hype. Unfortunately, none of the "big name" reviewers are being very honest about the ML.

As for the B&O system, never listened to one.

Do you own a B&O system and what is your opinion of it?

ive never listened to the b&o in an audi but B&O in general, HANDS DOWN.

Just listened to a home version of the B&O system. I'd rank it as "not bad" or about a 6/7 on my 10 scale. The sound is VERY warmish and not neutral at all. A bit too much midbass. Mids were a bit too reserved and laid back - not enough neutrality or presence. Tweeters sounded like they didn't have the "air" or "extension" that I'm used to. But then I'm comparing them with the Dynaudio Esotar 2 series, a definite "10" in my book.

Now here's the thing - if B&O could replicate the same sound I heard in the home system for the car then they are doing a very nice job. Quite frankly though, the 1st gen LS430 ML system (complete with compression horns, etc) was better than the B&O home demo system.

Still have to find some time at the Mercedes dealership to listen to the B&O car system.
