Angry Issues with Lexus Enform remote in rural areas?

I just purchased a 2019 RX 450H 10 days ago. I had a 2016 NX previously that I never had any issues with the Lexus enform. I used it often as I work 13 hour shifts at the hospital in Alaska winters when it's dark going to and going home from work. I liked being able to start my car while I was giving report and knowing that if I was in a wreck, the SOS system would work. Fast forward to now....I spent the first week trying to get the enform to work. I spent hours on the phone with lexus and tried everything they told me to do. Finally they have decided that it will not work at all in my area as the 2019's now run on Verizon 4G network whereas the previous years ran on Verizon 3G. Sooo,,Verizon 4G is NOT available in the rural area of Alaska where I live. I have contacted the dealership who graciously said they would give me 50% off of a $810 two way remote to start my car. Are you kidding me???? Not acceptable. So I'm still arguing with them as they failed to mention this little bit of info when I bought the new car. I said they need to fix this at no cost to me. I'm pretty irritated about the whole thing. Just wondering if anyone else in a rural area has run across this and what the outcome was.

Get a Viper remote start installed at a Toyota dealer or any Viper installer. No subscription or cell phone required, 1000+ feet distance, $275 - $455 out the door depending on the controller you want. The factory remote start has very limited distance and is .grossly overpriced. I have the Viper in my 2017 450H.

Greg; does it shut off when you open the car doors? For my old RAV4, I had to supply a spare 'chipped' key to enable Viper to work properly (bypass). I'm lucky if my Enform starts my '16 RX350 half the time when it's in my garage. I like that I can start the RX using the Enform app on my phone. And starting at home with Alexa is really cool. But when it only works half the time, why bother?
