iPhone 8 Plus to 8 Inch Screen for Navigation?

Is it possible to have one's iPhone 8 Plus connect to the 8 inch (non-nav) screen to use the iPhone/Google Maps?

Yes, but with aftermarket parts. You need to install the Apple/Android by-pass behind the stereo unit. You can find more info on this here: http://www.beatsonicusa.com/blog/?p=48

Has anyone done this? Is there an easy way to toggle between the Phone screen and the Car Display?

There is not an "easy way". There are some third parties offering hardware that "may" do as you wish.

menu, media, av input i believe is how to switch to the phone. it is also possible to have the av input on the small screen side too.
the beatsonic uses the av input, also has a nav and media in motion bypass.

i don't have one installed yet, but ordering in the next week or 2 i think. might toss a fire stick on it for mirroring my android, not sure yet.
for sure i want the in motion bypass.

I don't think there is AV input on the 8 inches non-Navigation screen. Last time I check with beat sonic, they can only do screen mirror on the one with Navigation screen.

ahh, sorry then. yeah, i just checked the site, looks like nav only.

I am hoping that they will come up with an aftermarket solution... Very surprising that $45K car does not support entune 2.0...

iPhone and Navigation

I have a 2016 RX450h and would like have my iPhone display on the navigation screen. Is this possible? Waze and google maps would be nice to see on the “big” screen.
