Speed display on RX?
My wife just traded a ‘13 ES for a ‘19 RX. I can’t seem to get the dash to display speed other than when on cruise control. The old ES had it, and most cars seem to these days. No HUD on this one. A quick look at the manual shows the F Sport has it. I hope I am just missing a setting somehow, but I fear not.
If you need the HUD or F Sport option, that is a sad state of affairs. Wow this thing has more than enough nanny state gizmos. Glad I don’t have to drive it (I turned most off except crash avoidance). I am not a SUV guy but concede for a vehicle of this type it is pretty nice. Except for simple digital speed display??

Did you get the manual for it? If not, find a way to get one -- these cars are way too complicated to figure out yourself. My 2018 manual shows the displays for both my F-Sport and the base model -- they are different, but they both have a digital speedometer. And I wouldn't turn off the parking assistant -- that little beeper is very handy in a tight spot. The lane-keeping assistant is a total annoyance. Rear cross traffic alarm might also save your billfold a drainage event.

Are we talking about 'digital" as in a pure numeric display of the speed, versus a faux "needle" and circular dial display of the speed? It appears that the base model has the circular dial and something that looks like the old school analog needle, that on old cars was connected to a cable that ran down to a gear on the tail end of the transmission. I'm quite sure the signal that is driving that RX 350 speedometer is a digital signal, however. So, maybe it's a "Digital speedometer with a faux analog display."
I could be wrong, but I thought the non F-sport without HUD does have the capability to show the current speed as a numeric value in the MID. In the Info panel, if you scroll down past the tire pressure and AWD display, just before it goes blank, there's an option to show the speed.
