Default 2020 RX issues

Bought a 2020 RX 450 (with Nav Package) and had it for three weeks 900 miles. The issues I found so far:

1. Can't found a way to enter the Lat/Long coordinates in the 2020 version Nav system. I heard the previous year models had no such issue.
2. The in-coming phone call volume too low (paired the phone via BlueTooth). The other side can here me clearly though. Set the in-coming volume to Max (16) in "Setting" and made no difference. Also raised my iPhone (Max) volume up still no help.

Anyone else with 2020 models experiencing the same issues ? Other than these, the car runs great.

Try the dealer on the iPhone volume issue. My wife had the same thing with her 2017 and they went into some other setting to correct the problem. Wish I remembered what she told me

Did you try turning up the volume **** on the radio when on a call?

That is what I do with my 2018 450hl. The radio volume controls the phone volume. I have never adjusted the volume in settings.

There's a setting there for sure. Yes the radio controls it but the other setting can still limit the max volume.

[QUOTECan't found a way to enter the Lat/Long coordinates in the 2020 version Nav system][/QUOTE]

Is there a Page 2 on the "Destination" screen with "Coordinates"? That's how the prior one accessed them.

This worked. I set the "in-come volume" to the MAX via "Setup" menu. Then when the call comes in I just turned up the radio control volume. Problem solved ! Thanks everyone for your help.

Sounds good. On a related note, it's also the same way you control the navigation voice volume (or the voice command volume in general). Turn the volume when she speaks and you can set how loud the navigation prompts go.

They removed the Lat/Long coordinate ability in GEN 10, the 20RX is GEN11, previously was GEN9

Post above you was talking about the Lexus multimedia system version, not the generation of the RX. When our 4th gen RX first debuted in 2016, it used the Gen 9 multimedia and Nav system (you can think of it as the OS version). Gen10 was used in the new ES and the refreshed NX, among others. It sounds like the 2020 and up RX uses an even newer Gen 11.

That really bad. Not sure why Lexus did that. The ability to enter Lat/Long coordinate can be really useful some times.

Increase the volume on your phone once connected via bluetooth. Your bluetooth on your phone is set too low.
