I've searched through the forum threads but can't seem to find the answer to this question ... I have my iPhone 6 connected to my 2016 RX, but can't seem to get text messages to come through to the nav screen or be read aloud. When I go to set up messaging, I get a message that says something to the effect of "You may have to set up messaging on your phone". Well, I do receive text messages on my phone, they are just not coming through to the RX. Has anyone else encountered this issue and found the solution?

I have a 2014 ES and can receive text messages from this same phone, so I can't imagine Lexus removed this feature from the 2016 RX did they?

 

Nevermind, I'm a dummy and didn't have Show Notifications turned on on my phone's Bluetooth settings.
