MSRP $58,843
MF don’t know
Residual 51%
Discount $2,427
Rebates $1,500
DAS(includes dues/fees and 1st month) $2,000
Selling Price $54,916

it’s a pretty awful offer but I think it will be tough to get 10% on an f sport. Most dealerships have only 1-2 f sports and are reluctant to discount them as heavy. If you are okay with a non f sport trim and expand your geographic area you should be able to get close to 10%.

You're right, same reason why this weekend we decided to forgo the F sports and start looking for a mid optioned RX, same features for roughly $4000 less and they're plentiful. Same principle works for the luxury models, dealers only stock a few. Base models and mid optioned models are plentiful.Plus to me, the must have options are Navi, PP, BSM, touch less rear door and 20 inch wheels which are on all the mid optioned cars. All of which MSRP from under $54k.

I don't get the F sport trim. There's nothing sport about it. I wish they put a bit more horsepower in it. Just a way for Lexus to charge people more for the same vehicle. I think it's actually uglier with all the metal trim inside and the awful red seats.

That's a great deal. Wish the dealers would offer that in LA area. If anyone knows a dealer in LA with this kind of offer please let me know. TIA

Let me try to help you understand why F-Sport is "sportier" and why it can be a good value. You get the following items:

1. Adaptive suspension with S+ mode (it actually does a good job of controlling body roll around corners - body roll does make some people queasy in tall cars)
2. Sport-tuned electric power steering
3. Exclusive 20" F-Sport rims ($1170 for 20" non-sport wheels)
4. Black headliner
5. VDIM (you have to either get F-Sport or Hybrid for this and it does a great job)
6. Paddle shifters
7. AWD ($1,400 option)
8. Heated and ventilated front seats ($640)
9. Styling/exclusivity (considering the 100k+ RXs sold each year)
10. Ambient interior illumination
11. Everything from the premium package ($1085)

The price difference between 350 Base and 350 F Sport is $7,225 (all $ are from 2016 MSRP). So really you are paying $2,930 more for #1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10. Not a whole lot more for a luxury car for some people. Some people will care, some people won't.

So yes, it costs more for a reason and it is great for those of us who are trying to shed the soccer mom/retiree image of the RX. F Sports come in seat colors besides red by the way.

But yeah, they should've added more power and reduced weight. Either way it's still slightly more sporty.

I would trade most of these for a bit more power and less weight. Do you ever use your paddle shifters? I have them on my GS 350 and I don't recall ever using them.

Off-topic but I have a hybrid so paddle shifters are nearly useless.

Personally, I wouldn't trade VDIM nor styling/rims. VDIM is amazing if you drive in snow. The only thing I would trade is AVS for more power and less weight.

Completely agreed. I am getting a lot of praise for the aggressive look (including the wheels) from many. The sport+ mode indeed makes the car drive like sedan. Getting FSport, you pretty much get all the options. I am loving it.

If Park Place, probably about as good as you'll get.
Sewell will probably give you a bit better deal.

anyone from the Bay Area can tell me if this is a good price or if they got a better one, post their quote from the dealer so I can get the same? I'm looking for a base 2018 lexus RX 350 AWD with moon roof. Thank you. This is the quote I got from a dealer.

MSRP = $46,834

Sales Price = $41,431 - $1,500 Rebate = $39,931
Almost 15% off MSRP. Please help. Thank you.

41431/46834 = 11.5% good deal !

Try using this to calc dmv fees.

https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/de...latorweb/index

add another $100 for doc fees from dealer. This will enable you to control your OTD price and not let dealers add on unecessary charges.

can u tell me which dealer u got the deal from ? I’m also shopping in the bay area.

thanks,
