If so, seems like the FWD F-Sports only went into production for 2017 and they're already getting rid of. Wonder if this is due to sales or requests in the market.
talked to another dealer who says they're not getting rid of the FWD F Sports. I guess we won't really know until next month.

Please let us know once you make your RX order this month. Dealers down here are giving conflicting info when order books are ready.

Can someone point out the exact difference (official) between 17 and 18 model year RX?

There is not much info about this topic on the internet.

Same here, any one has info about changes/date for 2018 model? (not the three row which will come next year)

Default updates to vehicle software/firmware?

Hello to Lexus Techies,

The 2017 RX brochure Standard Safety reads "Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, ... Lane Departure Alert, ... Lane Keep Assist"

I asked the Lexus dealer if there will be any changes between the 2017 RX and the 2018 model. The email reply included: "The answer is that there will be no changes. The 2018 model will be exactly alike."

But the Standard Safety features must involve a lot of software or firmware. Can it really be true that NO software improvements have been made in the last year?

And if there have been improvements how can we find out what they are?

Dave

That's because your dealer is unaware of the changes. Post to follow...soon

Well tires store like tirerack.com would love it if you buy more tires from them and thus their reasons for replacing all four tires. I don't buy their logics.
I recently had a nail in my RX350. I had to replace only one tire but with the same brand and model of the original tires.

I just talked to someone in a Dealer about 2018 RX.
I was told that 2018 RX (base Fsport hybrid) will be in dealers mid December and they do not expect any major changes.
They expect to get new 7 passenger RXL in January 18, 2018.
This is in Canada, I am not sure about US but it should be around same time frame.

RXL in January? If past debuts are any indication, the release is a lot farther than that, considering it hasn’t been debuted yet.

I just got a note from my salesperson that says about the same thing. She says '18 RX late this year and RXL in January. She also said that they are expecting the LS500 in December. I asked her about 2018 changes to the RX and she said they don't know of any yet, but expects they will be very minor. The RXL is the big RX news for 2018.
