Regardless of how they do this, can you imagine how flippin' tight that's gonna be back there?

almost all third rows in CUVs are tight. However if they keep the slant roofline at the back with the floating C pillar, I dont know how useable the RX-L will be

Lexus CAN'T just simply add another row to the current RX to make it a 3 rows vehicle. That would be suicide.

I guess they will lengthen it a little more (like 6" longer) and make it little wider to be proportional. I'll be happy if they can just make it like the MDX.

Why not? Remember that MDX is only 1" longer than the RX. Anything is possible.

If anything it would be LATE 2018 because they thought it would be announced in Shanghai with the NX but it is not.

The rumors were last year because they trademarked it I believe. " A three-row version of the RX was confirmed a year ago by Lexus USA general manager Jeff Bracken, with a planned release in late 2017 or early 2018"

Use lexus enthusiast.com and search for the RX rumors. They always have the MOST up to date on everything lexus.

Default 2018 RX's-any info on minor changes/updates?

I will be in the market for a new car in about the September-December time frame. I have searched for information about any changes/updates to the upcoming 2018 model year RX's. I know the RX's were recently updated in the past year or two, but wondering if anybody has found out about the 2018 model other than the possibility of adding a 3rd row. Appreciate any insight. Thank you.

Default 2018 RX-when should start arriving?

I am in the market in about 3-4 months, and was wondering when the 2018's start arriving in the showrooms. Also, I have searched for info about any changes between the 2017's and the 2018's and haven't been able to find anything yet (no matter how minor). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I was talking to my Lexus salesman last week about any good deals on the RX350. He advised me to wait until December because they are going to continue the '17 models until the end of the year and then, in January they will introduce the 2018 models that will also include a 3rd row version.

The order books are available to Dealers in August 2017. If placed early they will be on the ground at the Dealer in October 2017.

You're prob not going to find any new changes. Look at the new 2018 nx coming out. It has all the features that are available currently. Same with the new LC. NOthing new and special.

Also it be interesting to see if they block the radio controls from when your driving like they have done LC500, on LC you can only control the radio controls from steering wheel when the car is moving as it disables the function from controller to NAV screen when car is in motion like it does now for NAV settings. I really think this is getting crazy, bad enough when I have passenger they can't key in address while I am moving now radio, come on!!!
