Ambient Lighting
If you want the dealer to install it for you, then no.
I'm sure you can order the parts and install it yourself, but it will involve a certain level of handiness and will probably be quite expensive.

This is probably the best picture I have seen online. The light starts bright when you enter the car and dim when you close the doors. While driving, it can hardly be seen at night. The light is under the metal on top the glove compartment. It is also on both doors in the forward part of the metal beam. You also get a little light on the footwells and the cubby in front of the shift lever.

My RX has "ambient" lighting from the RX luxury package and I must say their nothing ambient about it compared to Audis and Merc. until I saw the earlier picture above I didn't know it had that many ambient lights. I think Lexus should allow me to choose the brightness. I could do that in my 2005 A6 MMI settings a car 11 years before 2016 RX. When executed well ambient lighting can be pretty cool.
I saw the ambient lighting last week and never knew it was an option. It was so dim looking compared to what I saw in a few Lincolns and Fords I've rode in.
If your car doesn't have it from the factory then aftermarket would be the way to go in opinion.

The ambient light from above the glove compartment does not seem to be included on my 2017 RX 350 Premium Package. Does anyone know if this is included on all Premium Packages? If so, I may have to get it checked out.
There isn't any ambient lighting on the door or dash trim above the glove compartment for the Premium Package. Only available on Luxury Package or F-sport.
Its standard on the f-sport... not sure why it wouldnt be on the prem package
