to put it bluntly, ive found this celular service to suck. it can take up to 1-2 minutes for a simple start command to be successful. its almost useless when leaving a store or home as by 5he time i reach the car it stil hasnt completed the command. are others having thus problem? any possible solutions? does lexus know.how frustrating it is? sorry to vent but id expect this from a leser brand

 

It will never be instant as you are having to go from your carrier to the Enform servers and then sent to you vehicle via another carrier. There will be some delay.

I do not find the wait excessive and still like the Enform system.

Yes it is very delayed. I believe it is best for when you have a solid 5 minutes before you enter your car. As in, right before you leave for work or are waiting at the check out counter.

Canada Lexus has an actual remote not GPS which is what I like better. BUt, we do what we can.

I actually do not use the remote start anymore since it is so annoying. Also, it puts more stress on the engine when it turns off and you have to turn the engine on right away again.

I do however use it alot when I am paranoid I left my window open or doors unlocked.

 

Yep, 99.9% of my Enform use is to confirm I looked doors or rolled up windows and to lock doors when you forget and get notified. I see little use for the remote start up feature but I know other like it.
