I have found that the best way to measure your mileage is to fill the tank and reset your trip odometer, then, the next time you fill up note the mileage that was driven and divide the gallons to fill the tank. That will be a true measure as long as your filling up slowly and stop at the first click-off of the pump or pump slowly until the next auto shutoff. Do this every time for a couple of fill-ups and see what you get. Keep us posted.

I have checked my mileage the old fashioned way by calculating over several fill ups and the computer calculation is amazingly consistent with my numbers. Previous cars always had the computer at least a couple mpg higher than the real mileage.

Hi All,
2022 Lexus RX350 F-Sport.
Filled up with with quality 89 fuel from day 1.
I've tried eco, normal, and sports mode - none of them get me anywhere close to the advertised MPG.
I drive conservatively, not in severe weather, not carrying any extra weight - even if I stay at 65-70 MPH, I get at *most* 22 MPG on the highway (no uphill, etc.)
Is this normal? Do I have a foot to stand on to force Lexus to look at what the heck is going on?
Best city MPG is 18 and again, this is with optimal driving.

Bought a 2018 RX 350 with 51000 miles on it at 24.1 MPG in May this year. I did open the window this summer since A/C is not my thing. However since late August I have not opened the window while driving. Now the average MPG is 19.0, which is more than 20% loss. I changed the engine air filter in July. Anyone else have similar issue? It’s at around 56000 miles. Thanks for reading. (Changing oil on Monday so that’s why I ask, since I’m going under the hood).

It's not clear from your post, but are you saying that the car was showing an average of 24mpg prior to you owning it, and yet you're only able to achieve 19 mpg?
If so it could simply be a matter of different driving styles/conditions between you and the previous owner, along with different grades of fuel.

service item to improve gas mileage?
our 2021 RX350 F Sport will be due for 25k mile service soon, is there any service item that actually help improving gas mileage? fuel system cleaning or something like that?
