Regular gas. It's my wife's daily driver and definitely not economical.
My friend owns a 2022 RX350L that she purchased brand new back in January of 2022, and she tells me that it's not economical at all. I didn't ask her how many mpg that she's getting. She uses it a lot and already has put 10,000 miles on the vehicle in the last 5 months.
Yeah. Our ‘17 with premium fuel(by choice) is getting about 20MPG with mostly highway and rarely in traffic. With the gas prices recently, I’ve being just using regular.
My ‘20 GSF(5.0L V8) is doing about 19MPG with mix driving.
One of the reasons why I’m looking to replace the RX with the newer one is MPG. And maybe CarPlay.
I’m hoping the dealerships will have stock in their 450h+ and 500h to test drive or even look at and sit in. I can’t currently find a local dealership that have rhe NX450h+ to even sit in. They all sold before they arrive at the lot.
My 2020 gets about 23 mpg on regular for my daily commute. I do about 100 miles/day of mixed driving....mostly highway, but good chunk of backroads and rolling hills. Pretty happy with mpg for what it is. Happy that I can use regular (top tier) instead of Premium. Never considered a hybrid but that was when gas was like $2/gal.
Speed matters. I just finished an 1800 mile round trip, Tucson to Austin and back. Averaging 80 to 85 mph, in my 2012 FWD RX350, I averaged 17.4 mpg, measured by tank fill ups divided by elapsed mileage. At a steady 70 mph,gas mileage increased to 24.9 to 26.2 mpg. I was amazed!

On my NY-FL snowbird trips, my 2017 RX also got 25-26 at 70ish.
yeah....I am actually pretty pleased at the highway mpg if you control the speed. I did a run from NH down to CT on open highway doing about 70 and got 26+
Just had the 6-month service, where dealer notice they forgot to replace spark plugs before sale, so did it with service appt.
Took a friend to airport (100 mile trip) and had it in Eco mode, using Eco indicator to prevent 'overthrottlin', and got this crazy MPG figure upon arrival:
Best achieved before this was 29 MPG on long trip.
In addition to plugs, dealer updated system software (we can't, do to no more 3G access) and inflating to tires to 38 psi (which is about 5 lbs over manufaturer spec).
So, I'm wondering if something is wrong with the software, and it's miscalculating mileage.
Looked on fuelly and don't see ANYONE reporting anything near these numbers.
Average miles per gallon on RX 350 F-sport Handling AWD
Hello all,
I recently purchased 2022 Lexus RX-350 F sport Handling and would like to know how much is the miles per gallon on RX-350 F sport Handling?
I am checking on average as the tank capacity is showing only 357 miles range.
Is it something like it will give me more range once it go to its first service ?

Your question will likely get moved to the 4RX Mileage thread (look in the sticky section.) To answer your question, your experience roughly matches mine. My 2020 RX is a base, not an F Sport, but there is no difference that substantially affects mileage. Since I rarely run the RX to empty, the practical range is 290-320 miles.
Hello guys,
I’ve purchased my RX used with 75K miles in Jan 22, currently 85K miles. The car works great, but the thing is that I only get 15 MPG local. On highways I can get up to 22MPG. Is this normal? I’ve the car to a Lexus dealer to have it check out, but the result came back normal. Is it normal? Thank you for the insight in advance.
