2016 RX Best Prices So Far?
Hi! First Post Everyone.
I'm looking to surprise my wife with an FSport. We test drove one last week and she loved it.
Anyone have the lease deals for an FSport?
Anyone here know of any good dealers here in the Seattle area?
Thanks

Newbie here. Last car bought in 2000 overseas Volvo stn wgn. So, I've checked out cars.com and Edmunds.com. Looking for 2016 RX350 mica blue with beige or gray interior and with blind spot option. I'm not interested in navigation or loads of options--just need blind spot and AWD. Having been to CO dealer, I get that cars with blind spot option come loaded with other stuff and that price is ranging around 47-49K as per cars.com (Truemarket pricing says invoice should be around 43k with truemarket value price of 44k. Dealer only offering 4.5% discount. Based on what I read here, I should get better price.
My Questions:
1. The dealer has 2 locations--location I've not visited has car I may want--I know they swap cars between the locations given common owner--do I ask salesman I've dealt with best price for car at other location and tell him my out of state offers only? Or do I work both locations with different sales people (again telling them out of state prices) to get best price? Do these folks trade info.? 1st salesman telling me only 4.5% discount and I can't help but think that's posturing on his part.
2. Out of state buy--any tips on negotiating there? Pitting lowest bid from another state against state closer to me? Better to go pick up in person or have delivered? Cost from CA to deliver is 1200 or 1650(enclosed carrier).
3. Since warranty work is done separately, am I correct that local dealer service doesn't care where I bought it?

Generally the best prices will be from dealers located beyond your normal buying range. A dealer knows the only reason you will pass a closer dealership and buy from them is a better price.
You can always take the numbers and present them to the dealer you want to buy from and ask them to match it.

I feel the best price we can get in H-Town is $46200 or so for this kind of vehicle as i called 2 dealers in florida and couple in dallas and houston( I didn't have patience to negotiate anymore but someone can comfortably negotiate from this price downwards for better price)
I didn't get good feel from westside lexus so best bet is Northside lexus or sterling mccall

Hello All,
Here are the details , I browsed the forums extensively and found out that we can target atleast 6k off MSRP. I initially test drove at sterling mccall lexus and then liked the suv with below features
2016 RX 360 FWD with following features
1. LSS+
2. 12.3 inch Navigation
3. Premium package
4. Blind spot+rear cross traffic
5.Heated and ventilated front seats
6. Intuitive parking assist
7. Matte Linear Dark mocha wood interior trim
8. Touch free power open/close rear door
9. Moon roof
10. 20 inch wheels
11. tow package(it was added by default to all of them)
12. cargo mat, net, wheel locks, key cover(it was added by default to all of them)
I asked them to give me a best price and they asked me for a number and I told them 46k +ttl and I don't want to negotiate much as I have done extensive research. Then I reached out to my old dealer (westside lexus) and he said 50k+TTL and I just said thanks and spoke with northside lexus and told him the same price 46k+ttl and he told he can do 46.7k+ttl
Then Sterling mccall called me and asked me what can they do to get me into showroom and buy it and I said give me 46k and they said that number is difficult and to come down to show room to get next best rate. Yesterday I went down and sat and finally got $46450,the mistake i did was that I told him that this should include all dealer fees but they still went ahead and added $150(doc fee) and so had to fight it out with them and they didn't budge on it but finally got the all weather mats added for free as they don't want anything less than 10 on survey( this is a crucial point for folks going in now) just talk to them and state i want 46k(including doc fee) and only ttl should be extra and good customer service for good survey rating.
My otd was 49795+all weather mats.
If you want just reach to Tony from Steling mccall or Michael from Northside( both are internet sales related managers) and for northside I didn't go in so don't know how the runaround would be or if they would honor the 46.7k price.
my advice start at 46k and tell them that should already include the $100-150 doc fee in it.
They have enough in stock so stock shouldn't be a problem while negotiating and pls make sure you are preapproved as that helps a lot in not dealing with their finance.
They also added Vehicle inventory tax in fees for $100 so if there are expert negotiators maybe you can get it off but looks like all dealers add it (experts can confirm)
You can definitely negotiate f-sport also based on others feedback on forum and I bought this car(didn't want to lease).
