EXP_Cougar - You stated that SMC made it a pleasure and I see the 4RX listed in your sig line is close to what I'm seeking in ATL. Can i ask about what % off MSRP you negotiated and when purchased? Thanks!

Yes, I'm in Georgia... Try calling Heather Garner @ Hennessy Lexus in Smyrna. She gave me the best local deal, but did not have the car I wanted in stock. Got a better deal in Florida plus they had the car, so ended up buying out of state. Good Luck!

Curf - Hello from a fellow Georgian! I may be headed through Jacksonville and near Orlando in latter part of June anyway. Do you mind saying what Florida dealer gave you the good deal? And was there any issue buying there in FL and paying our Georgia Ad Valorem tax and/or FL sales tax? Thanks so much to you and others for sharing the information with the rest of us!

The RX has a premium package with 8" Navi. MSRP was $49,993. Got them down to the selling price at $43,951 + tax and fees. That's about 12.1% off.

The problem is that I don't want to build because you normally don't get that much discount off, and I don't want to wait. Has anyone seen one in stock with Premium and panoramic roof?
Check under one of the responses on this thread. I'm new here and didn't do it right! Sorry! 😮

Good evening ATLexus -
Since I'm looking near ATL as well - Was wondering if you were able to get anything close to the 11-12% off MSRP that other areas of country are reporting? Thanks and congrats on the Pano roof find!

Just bought mine at Hennessy Lexus (Ken Haynes) MSRP 54,319 Got it for 49,819 + ttl. This was just a little over 9% off MSRP. The config with the Premium Package AND the Pano Moonroof is hard to find in this part of the country and I really didn't want to pay for the Luxury or FSport packages, so I was happy to find this one.

My RX350 Includes:

Premium package - $1085
Blind spot w/ rear cross - $1300
Color Heads up display - $600
Heated and ventilated seats - $640
Heated leather steering wheel - $150
Intuitive parking assist - $500
Safety system + with triple beam - $2250
Matte bamboo interior Trim - $400
12.3" Nav System - $2180
Panoramic Moonroof - $1600
Touch free rear door - $200
Towing prep - $265
Cargo net, Cargo Mat, Wheel locks, Key Gloves - $299

Total Optional Equipment: $11,469

Default Purchase in San Diego area

Just bought a 2016 RX 350 FWD, in the San Diego area:

MSRP - $51,753.00
Invoice - $48,810.00
Sell Price - $46,810.00 (Appr. 10% discount)

I purchased at Lexus Escondido (Stefani), based on an earlier post on this thread. (Thanks a bunch for the referral.) Indeed, Stefani was extremely easy to work with, and provided very fast feedback. She quickly found a car (in North LA) that had the colors and option mix that I wanted. I proposed a $5K discount off of MSRP, and they came back quickly with an offer within a few $$ of that.

I was also happy that they did not try and pressure me to purchase any of the add-ons. This was a great place to work with.

I felt this was a good deal, similar to many recent deals posted on this thread. I do realize that a few of the recent posts have beaten this by a bit. For any new buyers, you might start negotiating at a couple percent greater discount.

For anyone going in with a trade-in, I would highly recommend getting a (free) appraisal from CarMax before making your purchase. Their appraisal is good for 7 days, and it can be very effective in negotiating your trade-in value. This approach saved me an additional several hundred dollars.

Signed papers last night 2016 RX350 AWD F-sport fully loaded with delivery in about a week and half due to the dealership having to trade for the one I wanted.

MSRP - $61,428
Sell Price - $54,500 little over 11% off

VanPilot,
No, I got more like 9% off and because of the uniqueness of this car in the ATL market, I was okay with that number! I think with a different config [although perhaps not Luxury or FSport at this point] a better deal could be found.
