Anyone ever seen/bought any OEM switch blanks? Pics enclosed. I’d like to add a few things and wondering if Lexus makes them? I’d like them to be just like the OEM ones that depress. Or maybe these already do? I figured these were just dummy ones since they don’t depress but…you guys tell me?
The "blanks" have a part number and you can call you local Lexus parts for part number and availably [not obligated to purchase], but they will be the least expensive when you include shipping and handling from other sources. Just make sure you have the exact location as the size can be different.
If you want actual switch to be inserted in a blank, then browse through the owners manual and see which option switch fits there. You can then order that switch too, [I was lucky to procure a switch for 95 SC400 through e-bay].
Other option would be salvage yard. Keep in mind that you may have to remove a panel or two as they simply do not fall off. [Access from behind is needed].
I guess I wasn’t super clear. I have the blanks… I was hoping to find a push button (or rocker switch) that looks like the OEM versions. I like the push button traction control switch between the seats but I’ve never had it out to see what the back side looks like. Be nice to find something like it without any names or graphics on it.
I’ve never been able to find OEM switch blanks. When I put in my heated steering wheel in my older cars I was forced to get AliExpress switches because Toyota didn’t make an OEM heated steering wheel graphic switch that would fit an older RX350.
