Any update on this? What exactly did the dealer do? I spoke with Lexus customer service and was told there is no TSB for this issue.

I have this same issue with our 2011 model.

Thanks.

I experienced a similar issue with intermittent drops with my bluetooth (i.e. switching between calls and music) and not being able to navigate through my music and podcasts when connected via USB. The only way I was able to reconnect my bluetooth connection was if I turned off the ignition and waited 5 seconds.

Updating my iphone 4s from iOS 5.0.1 to 6.1.3 fixed everything bluetooth related.

Btw, this is for a 2010 RX.

Smile iPhone 4S Bluetooth Connection

I have the same issue with suddenly the call goes off the car speaker and reverts to the phone and then will come back to the car as if it loses the Bluetooth connection. I have a 2012 RX 350 and an iPhone 4s which is running iOS 6.1.3. I am assuming it is something with the phone since I never see the post for other model phones.

deaddog, sorry you're having problems. Have you gotten in touch with the technology specialist at the dealer? He/she should help with issues like this.

Yes the dealer says there is no problem and he has never heard of any other complaints

This is exactly what they tell us.

Sure is frustrating. Everything works fine in my Avalanche. Dropping calls routinely in the RX...

Specifics of our problem.

2011 RX
iPhone 4S on AT&T
Randomly drops Bluetooth, but retains the call. I highly doubt it's an AT&T issue, as the call remains ok.

I can only believe it's an issue with the Lexus electronics.

My MIL has an older flip phone and it unpairs occasionally as well. So, it's not just an iPhone problem. She has a 2012 RX.

I have been having the same problem since I got the iPhone 4S. Took it to the dealership several times, the last time they say they put a new radio system in and it did not fix the problem. I hope to get the 5S soon and will let you know it that fixes the problem.

I'd be surprised if the iPhone 5 solves your issues...
