need help, having hard time getting my iphone 4S to work with my 2007GS350?

Very easy, make sure your iPhone is discoverable then just set your car Bluetooth for paring and that's it.

 

It's simple. What it won't do is transfer the phone book.

 

Just curious but why dont I hear mine ringing? Speakers don't kick on till the person im calling picks up...

I get lag time in mine sometimes too. With my BlackBerry it is pretty bad, sometimes 10 seconds between when I hit call and when it starts ringing. With my iPhone, it isn't as bad. It is also faster to dial from the phone than using the touchscreen for some reason.

Never had a problem with pairing. That is very quick and easy. Phone book transfer is hit-or-miss.

 

I have a 2009 and the iPhone wont transfer contacts, its not supported on our generation of navigation and the iPhone. I have a blackberry for work, and I can transfer contacts like that. I have tried the iPhone 4,4S. and now the 5 and none of them will ever transfer contacts to my car. The newer gen system in Lexus' do work with the iPhone, but that is of no help to us. Just saying this here so you know its not just you that has issues with iPhone and phone book transfer.
