Did anyone get the iPhone 7 and have problems connecting to bluetooth on the NX?

Its connecting to the device but is not able to connect to the messages and phone to make calls. Its really weird.

This is a known problem. Hopefully there will be an update soon.

 

Mine connected but it took about 4-5 minutes. Just kept spinning then made the link. Since then it's worked perfectly.

 

I got a 7 plus and the bluetooth connection was the same as the 6. Although I do not have messages showing on the screen though. Calls go through fine.

 

I've had my iPhone 7+ earlier this week, and the BT connection on my 2013 ES300h works flawlessly (calls, text messages, audiobook). I'm on iOS 10.0.3.

I drove my wife's 2015 NX200t today, linked the phone, and phone keeps disconnecting/reconnecting, over and over.

I'm confused as to why the 2013 ES doesn't have the BT connection problem, while the 2015 NX is having this annoying issue. Is this an issue with Lexus or with Apple?

 

I had an issue where if I had my 6S Plus connected via bluetooth and plugged in via USB (because the steering wheel controls won't work with Spotify if it's using the USB connection for audio) where it would drop the connection every now and then. I have 7 Plus now and so far that issue hasn't happened.

 

Any resolution to this? I have an iPhone 7. It will connect fine to Bluetooth, I can pay music and get calls. But no text messaging and there is no Messaging option on the setup screen.
