Used 2010 Lexus RX 350 ?
I am in the market for a used luxury SUV and one of my options has come down to a 2010 RX 350. The downside of this particular vehicle in my area has 58,450 miles on it.
Is there any major worries in buying a Lexus with this many miles? What is the typical Lexus warranty agreement?
I know I could find the latter question online, but I would rather read it from Lexus owners and people that own the vehicle. Thanks in advance!

4yr/50K wty; try to get an extended warranty thrown in on a deal price; 7syr/100,000 of which you will obviously hit 100k before the timeframe, but it is worth something if you trade at 80K+ also in a couple of years!!

Do you have other cars that you'll e using or is this your primary vehicle?
Honestly, having owned a lot of toyotas and a couple of Lexus ( GX 470) you don't have to worry about anything major even up to 100k.
The usual, oil changes, engine filter, air filters, belts, fluids, tire rotations battery and brakes will be your expenses from ownership up to 125,000.
If you can, buy the extended warranty BUT READ through the fine print.. Not everything is bumper to bumper coverage.
How long do you intend to keep the RX?

She has an Acadia Denali, so we'd share the driving duties. I only average 10k a year on my vehicle or less even.
Thank you both for the help and information!

If your car is under originaly factory warranty you will be able to purchase the lexus extended warranty which I think is a must when you buy a used car

By the way, if the mileage of the Lexus you are considering bothers you, I'm sure you can find other RX's of similar vintage that have fewer miles. Check around. There are a lot of them out there.
Good luck. You'll love Lexus.
This is an interesting thread with lots of great information.
I'm in the market for my first RX350 (replacing a 2004 BMW X3 w/ 92k miles), and found a great deal on a 2011, $33k, maxed out on options, exactly the colors I want and it's at the Lexus dealer closest to me (and one that doesn't charge dealer fees). The price gets me into an RX350 with more luxury options than I would add to a new one, but there are two huge negatives for this vehicle: it has 55k miles on it and it's not CPO. These things make me nervous.
From what everyone has said, I need to check the cost of the 60k service and see if I can purchase a Platinum warranty. Any other tips?
TIA
