Bought my First RX 350 (2010)
Bought my first Lexus rx 350 pre-certified with 12,000 miles (2010 model)
It has the premium package and is AWD and I am very excited
The factory warranty has 2 years remaining and since its low mileage I didnt bother to get the certication (3 years/100,000 miles) but I am wondering if i should buy extended warranty of 100,000 miles or 7 years for $2650
I am not sure if this number is too high? Please share your experiences
Thanks everyone for your all help or advise

Congratulations on your new 3rd generation RX. Wow, only 12,000 miles, thats brand new! We just traded in our 2010 for the 2013 and it had a hair under 40,000 miles. Not one problem. You will love the 2010, and from our experience the 2010 has been all good for being the start of the 3rd generation RX.
As for the warranty, be sure to do some research for the pros and cons and also the fine print. You will be more comfortable in your decision, as $2650 is a lot of money to recover just to break even. Whichever makes you feel the best will be the right decision after your research. 2010 RX is a great car, plus you still have 2 years of Lexus warranty remaining, and also the remainder of the 6 year powertrain and 6 year corrosion warranties with zero deductibles.
You will love the AWD, especially when the rain, or snow and ice arrives. We personally would not be without it, as added safety is a premium for us for our extensive traveling.

Hello go3Ds - congrats on your new 2013 RX - it looks great especially with the new LED lights and grill
I actually called around and found the same lexus warranty for $1600 so im a happy camper
Yes AWD and Traction Control and ECT were one of the main reasons I picked the Lexus because of tristate weather conditions
