Map Screen after Phone Call
2013 RX with Nav:
After I make a phone call, the screen on my dash always goes to the Map Screen, regardless of what screen I was on before the call. Is this happening for everybody else too? I have the "automatically change the screen" option (or whatever it is called) unchecked in the personal settings, so this is something else.

I have 2013 Rx450h with Nav and I'm pretty sure it returns to whatever screen I was on - usually the Fuel Consumption screen. I also have the Auto Screen option turned OFF. I'll try to check it for sure on the way home tonite.
I usually have mine on the audio screen. Then when I make a phone call, it goes to the Map screen when I hang up. Can you try this on yours?
I'll try it from several different screens and see if it's consistent but I'm pretty sure it is. I do seem to recall that if I had the Auto Screen option turned ON it would always revert to the MAP screen upon call termination, or after some time limit no matter where I was. I found it annoying.

OK...I made several calls from various screens and it always returned to the screen I was on prior to making the call. Of course, in order to test that functionality I had to use the BT to make the calls as opposed to using the mouse/phone screen as the starting point. I also had Siri make a couple calls from my iPhone 4S. Again, it returned to the screen I was on after the "Call Disconnected" message. Are you sure you have the Auto Screen Change option turned off?? Or perhaps I am not emulating your circumstances exactly?
OK...YES, when I use a Speed Dial number it does go to the MAP screen when the call ends. I suspect this is because you have to go thru Menu/Phone/Speed Dial and it doesn't remember that far back...? I think the MAP screen is like home base.
I hadn't noticed this because I had not yet set any speed dial numbers. I have almost 2000 contacts in my iPhone and it only loads the first 1000. If you have more than 3 numbers for a contact it then creates a duplicate contact with the next 3 numbers and so on. Not a very clever implementation.
