Wow....got it done....thanks to you guys. Just put deposit on matador red with blk interior at dealership in Macon....he is 140 miles from here. It had my mandatory needs...nav lux comfort but it also had tow park and hud. Found thisdealership from truecar. Got a deal for 1200 over invoice .....local guy was 2800 over invoice plus I got 1.9% loan.

Been working on it for two weeks with lots of help from this board. Found honest folks and some typical sales guys.......I knew more about car features and packages than the sales folks.

Thing that made the deal is he has this exact car coming from japan in mid december. I end up getting hud tow and park assist for 1000......about 500 below invoice ....and its here by xmas instead of easter.

Thanks for the help. Saved me 2-3000 and I got what I want. I will forward send pics whenever we get this baby.

Yeah you guys gave me a lot of confidence that I could get a lot off and maybe cut the cost of those things I didn't want to pay for....plus I didn't want to pay for the hud but it is way cool...I was concerned about using sunglasses but I can see it...not as bright but acceptable.

Because of playing on internet and this club, I clearly knew more about car than most of the salesmen. You should have seen the sales guys face in Columbia when wife asked "Is this car built in Japan or Canada?". Knowledge is power for sure.

Absolute must to get a few dealerships in the game. I had five before I was done...three of the five tried to lie to me....hard to do since I know a great deal about this car by now. I bought from one of the others.

I got same colors with lux instead of premium and hud and floor mats and all weather mats for 300 dollars LESS than my local guy quoted me on a premium car with out all those things. He offerred 1500 off msrp and the first quote online from Macon was 3500 off MSRP. All because the Macon guy is close to atlanta and will steal those guys business....it's all about competition (and capitalism)...... Augusta guy competes with BMW and Mercedes in town....these other guys compete with other lexus dealers too.

BTW I had 3 offer me 12-1500 over invoice if I wanted to custom order....you don't have to pay more for that route...other than time.

So now I don't have any thing much to play with and explore on the computer...oh but in six weeks I'll have a new toy (or mama will) to explore.

Life is good in the swamp.....better if we can beat South Carolina today!!

Yeah, a month is nothing compared to maybe 4 or 5 months for special order.

 

Well I ordered mine from scratch on the 27th of September and I just heard that it is in the Port of Vancouver right now with expected delivery on the 27th of November. Not bad at all only 2 months. It is supposed to be one of the first 2012 450H's in Canada. Only 15 more sleeps. LOL
