I've only had my 2012 RX about 4 weeks and for some reason my Trac Lite comes on arbitrarily. So far it's come on while sitting at a red lite (dry weather) and while in stop and go traffic (also dry weather). If I were on an incline or were driving in heavy rain or snow I would understand by dry weather? Anyone else experience this?

 

If you are pushing too hard on the brake pedal the anti roll back feature is activated - are you hearing a low beep as well? If so this is what's happening and is totally normal.

 

I have heard a beep although not every time. I don't think I'm apply too much pressure to the brakes, but, will pay closer attention to that. Thanks for the quick responses!

 

Just wanted to say, my phantom light was stricktly caused by operator error!! I was indeed pressing my brakes too hard causing the TRAC to engage. I love this forum!
