I tried to install new amber blinker lights that are chrome covered so that the lights from the outside look "white". I accidently dropped the bulb in the tail light housing. Can somone please give me step by step instructions to get this bulb back out, i dont wanna have it rattle around and break to cause damage. Thanks in advance!
Your best bet would be to remove the light housing and get the bulb out that way. That, or your fingers digging around, not sure how far it drops. Good Luck.
Thanks for the help! I ended up putting a band-aid in the end of a plastic pipe (duct-tape wasnt sticky enough) that fit the hole and fished it out.... took alot of patience and hand maneuvering but its all good now!
a band-aid was stickier than duct tape? who would have thunk it
Yeah lol, i thought the duct ape would work but it just wouldnt stick . Then i decided to find something stickier to the touch (with more temporary adhesion) and i found the bandaids in the lexus first aid kit .
Not meaning to go too off topic, cut my finger today pretty bad and I was not at home. I remembered reading this thread and thought, first aid kit. So I used one of the band aids in the kit, I was happy it was there, it was bleeding really bad. Went to take it off tonight and OMG, it made duct tape seem like 3M painters blue tape . I am still trying to get the adhesive off. I can see why you used it to get the bulb out.
