Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Just curious, i can't the dynamic radar cruise control as an option in any of the packages here in Canada. Am i missing something? I noticed it's referred to in the manual. Is it a US only option?

You will find lots of things 'missing' on a Canadian RX350. Not sure why. All options are packaged and dynamic cruise control is not in package. If you are anywhere near US border, suggest you check out buying in US. Tough part is Lexus requires you to first register a new vehicle in US so you would need a US address to do that. Their way of protecting Canadian dealers. You'll find US vehicle to be about $10,000 cheaper. Other option is to look for a used, low mileage vehicle. Already been registered in US so import is relatively easy.

Dynamic cruise control is only available on MIJ RX350. And of course most RX350s sold in Canada are MIC. But I think you can maybe get is as special order in Canada. I recall I was told that by a Canadian dealer a couple of years ago.
And with respect to Sixtyplus if you import a MIJ from US you will have to pay the 6% excise duty whereas you dont pay on a MIC.

The Dynamic Cruise Control is not listed as an option in Canada.
We actually just purchased one so we won't think about buying another one for at least a little bit. But reading through the manual i was curious about the dynamic cruise control. My initial reaction on the dynamic cruise control is that it is a little scary to allow technology to make those kinds of driving decisions for me...i would definitely want to try it out.

So you don't feel left out,
there is an Advanced Cruise Control
aftermarket product that won't give laser,
but will help you avoid speeding tickets.
It just makes your cruise smarter.
