So we finally got our first and second snow falls the last week in the Toronto area totaling about 15 cm and the F-Sport finally succumbed to the onslaught of filth.
Actually, I think it still looks pretty good. Also showing the valve caps I added on the car to complete the "mods". I couldn't resist showing off my CT which looks pretty sharp here
Aw, the F-Sport will be clean again, in spring My RXh survived the three storms last week relatively unscathed. I didn't have to go anywhere, work was closed. So there's just a film of salt dust. And no snow in the foreseeable future
Cruiter, as a young teen back in 1989, my loyalty to Toyota (and Lexus) solidified when the LS400 (and Lexus brand) was introduced which as we all know here, brought the entire car industry back to the drawing board on the new elevated standard for reliability, luxury, and refinement. At that time, I could only dream of sitting in a Lexus, let alone own one.
Fast forward about 16 years, I got my first pre-owned RX, then IS, then an RXh, and today I'm truly blessed with owning two.

Reason: .
You would've thought we had a major snowstorm looking at the RX. Nah, the amount of salt used exceeded the snow that fell. Even the rims are covered. Almost every car in the state is white. Tomorrow it'll be a mix of snow and ice, then rain by Wednesday. Are we having fun yet
Anita, Anita, Anita. Oh wow. You need to permanently join some of us in Southern California living where we complain when it gets below 60 or sprinkles and kicks up a little dirty road grime onto our clean rides.
...sorry, I couldn't help myself. I DO really feel for you guys. I'd go nuts if my ride had to go through that every year! Me and my **** ways needing a clean ride would not survive.
Haha, I know what this was. It was the storm that came through us first yesterday then hit eastern US overnight. Kept the RX in the garage at the expense of the CT but only to have a blast with the RX in the snow while literally minivans and 2wd SUVs were stuck on my street.
RX was fanatastic in 15 inches of snow and they didn't plow my street yet. Only the elite (Pathfinders, Jeep Grand Cherokees, RX AWD, and the like) survived mother nature's wrath!
Poor CT. I'm surprised you could find it in all that snow. And glad you had fun in the RX. It's definitely a blast to drive in this weather. I think we had about 15 inches. I'll have to find a yardstick to measure it
