Shawn, I doubt we will see any snow in Texas this year. At least not here in the Houston area. I would be nice though, like a couple years ago.

Too late here. But the snow barely covered the ground this morning. No pictures just yet. For the TX folks, David and I can ship the white stuff your way. We'll have plenty

We get that front later tonight into early morning Wednesday. I personally can't wait for it to get here. I love the cold weather.

Default Well seasoned RXh

About time to resurrect this thread The 450h looked like someone sprinkled it with salt and pepper after the big snow melt. The salt part was real, the "pepper" dirt. I couldn't stand it so I broke out the hose. And I didn't have to worry about frostbite. Temps were close to 70! The next storm rolls in tonight but it'll be wet instead of white.

Haha, true, looks like salt and pepper.

If you get the system that just swept through Toronto, brace yourself. Instead of a dusting of dirt, how about 3/8" of ice!

After the latest storm. On bright side, the RXh won't freeze with all the salt on it

Wow, those are two Cold (burrrrr) RXs. How long does it take to defrost it?

p.s. so glad I live in the SF Bay Area (if we want snow we drive 3 hours to the east to visit the Sierras).

Hi Cheryl. Takes a season to defrost!

SF is a nice area indeed thanks to the oceanic climate. This year old man winter came out with a vengeance and hit the rest of Canada and northern US.

This thread should come with a warning! Something like "Not for the faint of heart" or "Careful, the pictures in this thread may cause you to cry". I'm not sure you can get away with the 'No Lexus Vehicles were harmed making these pictures" with all those nasty, nasty, nasty salt cover pictures and the lovely ice coatings!

Ernie, we have this thread so we can commiserate instead of cry. And it's kinda fun to see what mother nature can do to our RXs.

I used to live back East - it was fun as a kid. Now I live in California, so when we want the snow, we drive a couple of hours to have fun in the snow. I'd really hate to have these conditions where I had to go in to work and drive through them.

Before you all move out here, two things - everyone in CA is crazy, and it costs way too much to live here.
