Just pushed the button on a 2010 Built and Complied RX350 Sports Luxury with ML. Sapphire Blue with Ivory Interior. Will be built in Feb in Japan with delivery in March!

After owning 13 Audis, I am awaiting delivery this month of my first Lexus - a 2010 RX450h with every option available in Canada.

I find it interesting that Lexus gives the option packages different English language names in different English-speaking countries, even though the contents of the packages appear to be the same.

You will enjoy it. Didn't want the Luxury package but eneded up with it. I would now order it if I had a choice. The ML Audio is nice.

Dave, I am assuming the dealer ordered it on your behalf..also, were you able to negotiate when you place custom orders? My dealer told me that it will have to be MSRP on custom orders.

 

raindrops, my dealer said they don't discount special orders, but they did for me Of course this is my third RX in 11 years from them. The order went from the dealer to CA then Japan.

Congrats harleydjce. I waited three months for mine just to be built and another to ship.

 

That's just your dealer, then. I got a $2400 discount off MSRP when buying my custom ordered, specially-built for me RX 350.

Sandy-- I think most dealers would give some sort of discount like you got because they want the sale. Their only fear is getting stuck with a unique package. It sounds like your dealer valued you as a customer though.
