My wife has been looking to replace her 2010 RX350. She wants a 2014 just like her 2010. We have been unable to find a RX350 FWD with luxury package and heads up display.Just wondering if anyone has seen one at a dealer anywhere. We have found the heads up display on some RX450h AWD, but not a RX350.

The wife had HUD on her 2011 Buick Lacross and wanted it badly on her new RX350. The dealer had one available.
A $59K RX450. Didn't happen.

She is still bummed.

My dealers had 0 with remote start and 0 with HUD. I wanted it also.

 

This reminds me of the time I tried to get a certain equipped Toyota but found out each region only has certain equipped models shipped. SE Toyota was the worst. I don't know if Lexus is under this umbrella also. You may want to try a dealer outside your region to see what is available.

 

Special order for RX 350.
Unless you can find a dealer where a customer backed out from THE order.

 

Remote start is a dealer-installed option. HUD, on the other hand, is only a special-order item.

 

...it reminds me when i got my RX350, all i was looking for was VIN # does starts with letter "J" supposedly made it Japan, and I got lucky and found it, didn't know i had HUD, AFS, ML, folding mirrors,auto dimming and headlight washer built in. So, HUD is special order for 2013 and up?

 

Back in August and September, we were doing some looking. Found lots of RX450h AWD in the Austin and DFW areas with HUD. None with luxury package and no RX350 and no RX450h FWD with either.

I didn't see any RX 350 FWD in the limited searches I did.

 

Thanks Mors, that is what she is looking for, I too have found quit a few RX350 AWD with the luxury package, but this is the only one I have seen with HUD.

 

One of the things, too, that our 2010 had that is now not in our 2013 is the camera under the passenger side mirror. My wife used that one a lot when parking and she really loved that convenience. The earlier one was an Ultra Premium 2 model, and we wanted the same for the 2013. Adaptive headlights are now gone too.

So far i havent seen any dings/scratches/marks on the rims of the 2013....so i guess that's a good thing.

 

Those 2 items were also on my wife's wish list. But as you said, they are no longer offered at all. The HUD feature is prominently shown in the RX brochure. It makes me wonder why it is such a rare item to find on "in stock" cars.

 

I got my 2013 RX450h with Luxury Package and HUD (and BSM and ML etc.) by special ordering it. It's a rare combo to see exactly everything all together (plus I was set on Stargazer Black) so I figured I could wait the 3-1/2 months it took for my special order.

I did get a 6-7% (IIRC) discount off MSRP even with special order. It's not quite as much as folks have received by taking what's on the lot and/or buying during one of Lexus' promotional events; but I'm very happy I did and would do it again.
