Recently got a '10 RX to park next to my '04 RX; it needs the oil line replaced. However I'm doubting these are going to come out without a fight. They are soaking in PB Blaster at the moment, but does anyone have the details on the studs and bolts in the event that they need to be replaced? Come to think of it I'd prefer not to put them back in if I can get replacements.
Just a guess since I do know the exact part numbers but it seem like you will need the union bolt and union(stud I believe). I would call an Lexus dealership part desk to make sure.
User on the Sienna forum said the hinge bolt is M8-1.25... wondering if I could use 6 bolts instead of 2 bolts and 4 stud/nuts. An online order of the above parts will take 2 weeks and I'd like to be back together sooner than that. I guess the only way to know is to get a stud out and see the size and pitch.
I would keep at least 2 studs to hold it in place during installation.
Looking at your photos you may not be able to remove all of them.
It would be best to have extra studs and bolts available for this project.
And keep spraying it with PB Blaster, then wire brush to remove surface rust.

The vehicle has 153k on it and still running the rubber oil cooler lines. I feel like I'm rolling the dice either option; trying to crack this hardware loose, or leaving the rubber lines in.
dviss, I'm running at 166k on my 2010 with the original soft line kit from the factory. No signs of weepage or leak anywhere, but I do have the new hard line kit to install during my upcoming OCI.
... just saying that the mileage by itself is not necessarily what determines the soft line failure.
