Tap Mirror Power for Dash Cam ?
I have this set up for dash cam with my '15 ES: tapping mirror power with adapter like this.
Anyone done/know if same can be done with '13 RX (450h) ?

I purchased a similar adapter from trailgridpro.com. They primarily specialize in Toyota Tacoma aftermarket parts. I explained my situation with the representative and was assured if the part didn’t fit, they offer a liberal return period.
I installed the adapter and both my rearview mirror and new dash cam work seamlessly.

I believe this is the adapter:

Remove the wiring cover from the mirror, disconnect the power source and count the number of pins in the harness. Order the adapter with the same amount of pins.
You can call Trail Grid Pro at 301-835-9100.
I hope this helps!

In case any one tries to use voltmeter to check out voltage ... word of caution ... the rear view mirror plug into the upper console has a loop that completes the circuit back to the upper console.
In 450H for sure there are some thin voltage wires [350 may have the same]. So not only voltage, but also the current load has to be kept in mind before you tap in.

. I can see why Lexus decided to do it this way, just not optimal for dash cam.
