I have a ‘24 RX350H with a digital rear view mirror. I’ve been trying to find an adapter to connect my Garman Dash Cam to mirror power but every one I find says they won’t work with the digital mirror only the auto dim mirrors. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

Take a look at this post from the Dashcam thread, and linked adapter. It worked with my 24 RX450H+ digital rear-view mirror and another reviewer said it worked in their RX500H. So I'm guessing it should work fine for a RX350H.

My RX has the digital rearview mirror, and I used the Dongar 10-pin power adapter for installation. It was a super clean setup, took 15 minutes, there's enough room to hide the entire adapter inside the casing, and the power cable is hardly visible. The camera turns on/off with power, and the digital mirror functions normally. Perfect solution.

 

That Dongar device looks like the bomb! Of course my Valentine One does not use a USB (uses RJ11 to a plug adapter). Is the Dongar 12v or 5v?

 

The one I shared is a Dongar clone - and its 5 V, 2 Amps rated.

 

This Dongar's output is 4.75-5.25V, 2.4A Max.
