I want to install a Garmin Mini dash cam, and use power from the rear view mirror area. I found this Donglar power adapter that looks like it's meant to tap into the rear view mirror:

Has anyone used this? I'm not sure if it will cause issues with the rear view mirror/camera functions.

 

I just used a 2 pin tap for my radar detector. Don't see why that won't work if it's wired correctly
