BSM/ Park assist not working

BSM/ Park assist not working
2014 RX350
I press the BSM button on the lower left dash to turn on the blind spot monitoring, no icon lights up in the instrument panel, feature not activated.
I use the button on the steering wheel to select Park assist, it is turned off, and trying to select on does not work.
Do you think these two malfunctions are related?
Both appeared to fail today. To try and help, I washed the car to ensure all sensors are clean. Any suggestions?

Also, since you just washed it Check for water leaks inside the vehicle. Especially the front floor areas carpets. Maybe you have a sunroof drain clog which leads to an internal flood.
Or it was cold enough for ice to be a problem after the car wash.

The situation is more interesting.
I went to check a couple things and discovered that with only the ignition on (engine not running) the check engine light and steering lock fault light stay on.
They should go out after several seconds like the other lights (tpms for example). I then start the car and they both go out!!
My all wheel drive lock as well can not be activated, I just used it 3 days ago. I have disconnected the battery, and will wait for a complete reset and see what happens.

I disconnected my battery for 3 hours and tried again, same result.
I was expecting to loose all data, the only thing I lost was the clock, after reconnecting the battery the only thing I lost was the clock, my phone was still there as were the radio presets.
Looks like this will wait till spring when it is nice and warm to get fully resolved.
The park assist has disappeared from my vehicle configuration screen (navigation)
The park assist has disappeared from the menu in the cluster.
Pressing the BSM button does nothing, the mirrors do not indicate the presence of a car.
My 4 wheel lock doesn't illuminate in the cluster.

Sorry, did not get around to much
I checked all fuses under the hood, I need to check the ones in the drivers footwell, but need to be a contortionist!!!
Scared to bring it anywhere for fear of big $$. I'll check soon i guess
