Default RX330 body control module

First the question - can anybody tell me the actual P/N for the body control module (ECU). This is the one that is located behind the fuse block under the driver's dash?

The issue: We bought this 2005 RX330 about five years ago and from day one it had major issues with the door/window controls. This was my daughter's car at college so we just lived with the problem. Actually, we had it taken to a local independent Lexus "specialist" and they claimed that they replaced the driver door switch assy but that didn't correct the problem. Fast forward five years and I'm tired of living with this issue so maybe I'll take a stab at fixing it. Searching on Club Lexus others with similar issues seem to isolate the problem to the Body Control Module but darned if I can determine what the "real" P/N is. Sooooooooo......
1. If you know the exact part number please respond (not "I think it's blah, blah, blah")
2. If you've had experience in this area I'd love to hear from you.

Browse the various modules here
http://www.japan-parts.eu/lexus/us/2...lay-computer/1

There is a network gateway box that allows the various modules to talk to each other etc. what you're thinking of is an integration relay don't think your car has this old school type module.

The body control module is sold as part of the dash junction block. The junction block part number is 82730-0W241. Link below.

Since this is over $400, you might want to consider getting this from a junkyard. I got mine for $75.

I'm trying to determine which module this car has, -0E010, 0E012 or 0E020. Looking under the dash, driver side near the emergency brake we spotted a module that looked like the photo. Dis-mounting it, it turned out to be the headlight control module (89940-48110). Can someone please point me to where the body control module is located?

The body control module is on the back of the under dash junction block. This unit has the fuses on the bottom of it.
Here is the thread I posted when I replaced mine. Maybe it will help you. Please note that I have a RX350, which is a little different from the RX330.

I believe the part number for your car is 82730-0W241. 82672-0E020 is the cover over the fuses. I don't know what 0E010 is without the first 5 numbers

Dennis, thanks for the feedback and the link to your previous post.
I didn't include the P/N prefix since I assumed (yeah, that assume!) that it was obvious. They all have the same prefix 89222-, e.g. 89222-0E010. I did a search to try to find out at what point each of the versions occurred chronologically but couldn't find anything so I need to remove the module in order to see the actual part number. What I'm not clear on is the module removable from the fust block or must I remove the entire block? You implied in your referenced post that it is part of the fuse block. If you - or anybody else - can clarify I'd appreciate it.

A side note - the radio had quit working about three months ago so not knowing which fuse it might be on we just checked all the fuses. There were no blown fuses but now the radio is working again so.it's another example of not assuming a component has failed - check the fuses first!

Default Where is it????

I've got a 2005 RX330 with a control module problem and I've posted here before trying to locate where it's mounted. The problem is that that series RX came with three possible control modules (referred to as multiplex door network computers) and I want to make sure that I replace with the correct one. The three optional modules are P/N 89222-0E010, -0E012 or -0E020. I've been told that it should be mounted behind the fuse block but there's nothing there. There is another module that is mounted to the wall left of the fuse block but that's for the headlight control. Can somebody out there point me in the right direction or even provide a diagram showing where this module is located?

The RX has many control modules.
It has one in each door, one for key transponder, one for gateway for Nav editions, etc, etc, etc.

I wouldn't go looking online for part numbers for anything yet.

Not really sure which module you need until you tell us what is going on and what's not working and how you came to diagnose you needed a module in the first place.
PS- each door has what you describe as a "multiplex door network computer" so, which door?
