Hi all, Im trying to update my maps but - the last usable update from 2017/2018. I checked the map version on: lexus-mapupdates.eu and the DVD bought off ebay. Nevertheless the DVD wont load and on the display is "Unable to load data. Check the DVD is correct".

Original disc niumber: 86271-0W081
New disc: PZ445-X03EU-0M

Why this doesnt work? Have you encountered this?

 

It’s possible (even likely) you bought a pirated nav dvd and they are notoriously problematic.

 

how is it possible ? - it looks like the original. Has the imprinted label, not printed. DVD Seems pressed not burned.

 

Pirated disks look often exactly like the real thing. Was it super cheap? Sold by a company that seems to sell nav disks for a lot of makes (and not a dealer)?

 

yeah, it was. Thats why I bought it cheap price, looked factory made, not burned.

 

That's how they get you.... 95% it's a pirated copy. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

 

i see. **** . Ok, they told me to unplug the baterry and wait 10-15 minutes and then try it again. But i dont want to do this, because the system could reset all the other settings...

 

Just wanted to know, that you were right about everything. The *****ing seller was a fraud who sells pirated copies (yet they weren't burned). So, I wanted to refund and instantly he closed his business on ebay. Fortunately, the ebay refunded me full price. So, in the end I got the money.
