Default Where can I get an updated Map DVD?

There's some places on my current NAV that doesn't exist anymore. Does anyone know where I can find an updated Map DVD?

the next dvd will still have places on it that don't exist anymore. you can get the latest update from your lexus dealership or from one of the forum sponsors/vendors.

The easiest way is to eject the NAV DVD and check the version on the disc.

Everyone with a 2006 has V5.1
Everyone with a 2007 has V6.0

The updated Nav disc coming out in November for sale is V6.0, the same as 2007 owners already have, hence, it's only of value to owners of a 2006 ISx50.

Easiest way is to check the version on the screen. MENU > Map DVD, there you'll see the version number.

Does the update get rid of the nav hack that the 2006 has?

I'm going to wait and see if when someone buys the new Nav disk and trys it. After reading on some of the Nav DVD forums, it seems that some newer versions will update the firmware. Some reported the first time the put the new disk in it took awhile to boot. Then they noticed new firmware version. I don't want to lose the override function on mine.

More than likely. We're still waiting for word from members to confirm. I have an 07 so I can't do the test.

Instead of waiting until November to find out, why not get together with a member with a ‘06 IS with one with a ‘07? Then just temporarily take the ‘07 dvd on the spot and see. I don’t know anyone in my region with a ‘07 but I’m sure members out there do.

On my way to Utah, I noticed that the closer I got to Hill AFB the more the Nav commands were giving me wrong exit directions, or so I thought. On screen it listed the interstate exit and the voice command would say the same but what I saw was not... example exit 388 (visual) but the NAV system would say exit 344.

I found out that they changed the damn exits signs on a good portion of I-15 and from the dealer that the new version of the Nav still had not been updated. Screw-em....damn near 450 buck for bogus crap, I'll stay with what I have for now.
