Lol, if it fits use it. The orange hose I'm using is silicone gas line hose for RC cars and planes, superior quality and durability!

 

Mesquite 77: Please provide the size of the orange hose that you used. It appears to fit nicely in the pic shown. Can I buy this from Amazon? I want this to fit snug (not too loose) and not impede the function of the airflow. Thanks!

 

Bumping this as i have the exact same cracked hose and the hose i got at autozone is too loose. any one have an idea on the correct size?

 

Autozone has that size, mine was crakced/brittle replaced it and a few others

 

4MM/0.16" ID FULL SILICONE AIR/GAUGE TURBO VACUUM HOSE/TUBE/TUBING FOOT/FEET is what I ordered last year. Try eBay, that's where I was able to find this black silicone tubing from "Speed Daddy" but its currently out of stock. But there are other seller's on eBay who offer similar product. This works and is superior to the original as its made from silicone which doesn't crack or dry rot. Good Luck

 

I used 5/32" windshield washer tubing I had lying around. Was supposed to be a temporary fix, but it has held up perfectly.
