Default RX330 Climate Control Icons when off

Hi

I have a 2004 RX330 without Nav and with a misbehaving climate control. When you push the OFF button on the climate control, what does the second row of icons look like in the climate control LCD. It's the row with the chair icon that changes when the airflow ports change. When I push the OFF button, the chair icon is still there and I can still change the airflow ports. I remember there being an empty row when i push the OFF button before.

I seem to have a lot of problems with my climate control. There's a clicking servo when ON and OFF. Now the chair icon doesn't seem to go away when the OFF button is pushed. I'm wondering if the climate control unit is broken also or if it is broken and causing the servo clicking.

Thanks for your response.

I dont have a 330 but my 300 also allows me to change the mode selection even with the system OFF. (blower off, Key ON or engine running)
So yours could be normal.

I'm sure someone here with a 330 will confirm your concern.
