After a lot of searching, I found the esoterically named mg clt relay. It is located in Junction Block #2 (J/B 2), located under the hood on the driver's side underneath the fuses.

But it is not a traditional mechanical relay that is mechanical. It is a solid state device that that is essentially a darlington driver transistor. I have no idea if this is a plug in device or what. It gets its power from the blower motor relay, so if the fan blows in the car for either heat or a/c, then this relay is at least getting power sent to it
